Day 1: Do some Mex ploration
Before picking out the time of year that you want to visit Cabo San Lucas, first you have to ask yourself why you want to visit Cabo San Lucas. The resort town accommodates all stripe of visitor all year long, but some seasons are obviously better suited to certain activities than others. March, April, Memorial Day weekend, and other long weekends bring in spring break revelers and the college crowds.Spring and summer is high season for couples in Cabo, while golfers come in the spring to avoid the summer heat. To beat most of the crowds altogether, visit in the winter, when the temperature is still balmy enough to enjoy the beach.
No matter when you decide to visit Cabo San Lucas, you shouldn't run into problems getting there. Due to the aggressive development in the Los Cabos area, which includes Cabo San Lucas and the neighboring village of San Jos del Cabo, it is surprisingly easy to access this Mexican gem. Los Cabos International Airport is located 26 miles north of Cabo and the yellow Aeroterrestre cabs are the best way to get to your hotel from the airport.
