The Digital Car Of The Future

If you've ever felt as though there weren't enough hours in the day to accomplish everything you wanted to do, allow me to introduce one of the world's most high-tech mobile offices and entertainment centers: Digital Wheels .

It's hard to believe that a van could possibly contain virtually everything that a man's heart desires (you'll have to provide the women yourself -- sorry), from a video arcade and home theater to Internet access and MP3 digital music.

Although I'm sure that I, as well as many other men, would enjoy moving into this futuristic vehicle, I opted instead to check out what it really had to offer and how simple it would be to man all the available features.

And since most people execute many extraordinary activities while they drive in this day and age (you know those cell phone talking, caffe latte drinking fellows?), now you'll be able carry on as though you were still at work in this mobile office. You can communicate with friends, colleagues and family through e-mail, hold meetings, have conference calls, and even view presentations.

But if you really want to appreciate the amazed look on your guests' faces, you'll want to pull over to show them everything this awesome piece of machinery has to offer. I have to say, I had to wipe the dribble from my mouth a couple of times.

more than just tech

Scott A. Jones thought up Digital Wheels -- a fully loaded Chevrolet Express Extended Van -- to help out all the movers and shakers (namely himself) that enjoy having technology at their fingertips, especially when they're on the move.

And hey, besides all the gadgets this automobile has to offer, one can enjoy the plush leather seats in sheer privacy, since no one will know or see what this awesome van has lurking inside. From the outside, the van is a simple shade of onyx black and has dark tinted windows, the look that most men like.

So what gadgets does this van come with?

hey, what's in the van?

So what exactly does this novel ride have to offer? Here are only a few of its selected features.

  • An onboard Windows 2000 Server with mobile wireless Internet access.
  • A wireless LAN (Local Area Network) within the van that can be used to access the Internet and the Web through the van's computer system.
  • An onboard color laser printer.
  • A touch-screen system that controls all onboard audio/video devices.
  • Three LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screens strategically placed throughout the van so that every person in a seat has a view of a screen, even the driver.
  • A voice-activated and controlled GPS (Global Positioning System) for the driver.
  • Home-theater-quality sound for movies and MP3 playback.
  • A VCR and DVD player with the latest available movies.
  • TV reception on the go.
  • A rear-mounted radio/CD head unit, so that the driver and rear passengers can listen to different music.
  • A hands-free PCS (Personal Communications Services or wireless network) phone system for the driver and passengers.
  • Hundreds of hours of MP3 digital music stored on hard discs.
  • Three onboard telephones so that the driver and his passengers can conduct separate conversations simultaneously.
  • hold your horses

And don't worry about upgrading because Digital Wheels is constantly being updated with the latest technology so that the van can remain on the cutting edge of mobile offices.

So do you want one? Do you, huh, do you? Of course you do, every man does. But unfortunately you'll have to wait for it to come out on the market.

For the time being, I guess we'll have to get by in our everyday cars
